Terms of use
1. Licence and access
• Single-household licence – one purchase permits use by one household only for personal, non-commercial study.
• Definition – a ‘household’ means persons permanently residing at a single residential address.
• Eligibility – this course is licensed to parents and carers for use with their own children only. Tutors, teachers, schools, tuition centres and education businesses are not permitted to purchase or use this course under these terms.
• Access length – twelve months from the date of enrolment.
• Non-transferable – accounts must not be sold, gifted or transferred.
• One account per purchaser – do not create or use shared or joint accounts.
• Monitoring – we will monitor sign-ins and IP addresses to protect learner access.
• Enforcement – we may limit devices, block VPNs or restrict access by region to prevent abuse.
• Fair use – we may apply reasonable rate limits to streaming or downloads to prevent abuse.
• No pauses – the twelve-month access period cannot be paused or extended except at our discretion.
2. Account security
• Keep your login confidential and secure.
• You are responsible for all activity under your account.
• Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access.
3. No sharing, copying or redistribution
• Do not share your login with anyone outside your household, including tutors, teachers, schools or tuition groups.
• Do not record, download, copy, screenshot or redistribute any course videos, pages, downloads or community content.
• Do not upload course materials to any website, file-share, social platform or AI training set.
4. Live Zoom sessions
• Camera on – attendees must join with the camera on for safeguarding and participation.
• Display name – use the purchaser’s name or the child’s first name and initial.
• Behaviour – be respectful and follow host instructions; we may mute or remove disruptive attendees.
• Recording – do not record or restream any session.
• Breach – if you join without a camera on, we will remove you from the call.
• Link security – do not share meeting links or passwords outside your household.
• No screenshots – do not take screenshots or photos of any session.
5. Community conduct
• Be courteous – no bullying, harassment or advertising.
• Keep content relevant to the course.
• Safeguarding – do not post surnames, school names or personal contact details.
6. Payments, access and refunds
• Access begins on enrolment and ends after twelve months.
• Cooling-off (UK consumers) – you have a 14-day right to cancel a distance purchase before you start using the digital content. Because access to this course is provided immediately after checkout, by completing your purchase you (a) expressly request us to start supplying the digital content straight away, and (b) acknowledge that you will lose your 14-day right to cancel once you start using any part of the course (for example by streaming, viewing or downloading lessons). This does not affect your statutory rights if the content is faulty.
• Faulty digital content (UK law) – ‘faulty’ means a technical defect with the digital delivery that prevents normal use as described, for example, non-playing videos, corrupt or missing files, broken downloads or access failures caused by our system. Differences of opinion about teaching style or method, study outcomes or minor typographical errors are not faults. If digital content is faulty or not as described in a material way, we may repair or replace it within a reasonable time; if that is not possible, we may provide a price reduction in line with the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
• Repeated sharing or abuse may lead to suspension or revocation without refund.
• Tutor misuse – if we reasonably believe a tutor, teacher, school, tuition centre or education business has purchased or is using the course in breach of these terms, we may terminate access immediately without refund.
• Refunds are not available once you have started using any part of the course (for example by streaming, viewing or downloading lessons), except where required by law.
• Chargebacks or failed payments – access may be suspended pending resolution.
• Payment plans – if offered, continued access depends on instalments being kept up to date.
7. Intellectual property
• All course content, videos, worksheets and community posts remain the intellectual property of S. L. Ager.
• Your licence is for personal study within your household only.
8. Privacy
• We collect limited data to operate the course, run Zoom sessions and protect accounts.
• See our Privacy Policy for details on data handling and your rights.
• Monitoring consent – by accepting these terms, you consent to our monitoring of sign-ins, IP addresses and device limits as described in clause one and to the collection and processing of live session data (camera feed and display name) for safeguarding, security and enforcing these terms.
9. Changes and contact
• We may update these terms to reflect changes in law or platform features.
